Desiree Rew Johnson, MSW, LCSW received her Bachelor of Arts, Social Work Degree from Salisbury State University in Salisbury, MD and her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Howard University, in Washington, DC.
Originally from Baltimore, MD, Desiree has been calling Charlotte home since 2001. She began her private practice in 2002, driven by the saying, “if you are not a part of the solution, you are a part of the problem” Desiree works to offer services that assist others toward their individual solutions.
Individuals seeking personal assistance, corporations concerned with employee relationships and communication and communities that want and need to be educated on strategies that lead to healthy emotional lifestyles are but a few of the situations that Desiree has committed herself and her business to…being part of the solution.
Desiree currently serves on Board of Directors of Kids Voting, Mecklenburg and Board of Trustees for Actors Theatre Charlotte. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, National Association of Women Business Owners, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and a Leadership Charlotte, Class XXIX graduate.
